Victor Igharo

Victor Igharo is a seasoned mission-driven leader practising at the nexus of business and global development with almost 20 years of experience spanning Africa to Asia, and North America. He works with individuals and organisations to apply shared value principles and inclusive business models to recalibrate their strategies, accelerate their growth and amplify their impact.

He is a highly accomplished, entrepreneurial leader, venture builder and impact investor, with expertise in strategic planning, fundraising and fiduciary oversight in both nonprofit and private sectors. He is passionate about building the next generation of audacious Black leaders who think beyond the social and economic stereotypes and fearlessly break away from the mould of problem-to-solution thinking.

Victor is a Managing Partner at Sociocapital, a mission-first organization that designs, implements and invests in solutions that improve lives and enable more resilient societies; and Scientist at the Johns Hopkins University, where he researches, designs, and manages initiatives bridging research and practice to scale up proven solutions globally through sustainable models. He is also the Founder & Convener of ProfitwithPurpose.Africa is a pan-African initiative that aims to transform businesses into vehicles for social change and philanthropy as a catalyst for economic development.
