Abdulhameed is a dedicated professional with a passion for excellence, committed to delivering accuracy and efficiency in every task. His meticulous approach ensures that projects are executed flawlessly the first time. Notably, he re-engineered the Internal Audit and Control Department of a prominent ICT firm with a presence across West Africa. By revamping policies, audit plans, procedures, evaluation checklists, and methodologies, he established a robust and effective internal control system that enhanced operational integrity.

A strong team player, he collaborated with a team of financial strategists to develop and implement a cost management structure that significantly reduced the firm’s direct and indirect expenses. His contributions were instrumental in creating a self-financing and cost-monitoring framework, enabling transparent organizational performance evaluations.

Driven by research and innovation, he successfully developed a payable and receivable monitoring system, further demonstrating his problem-solving abilities. His expertise extends to risk management, having served on a project team tasked with institutionalizing Enterprise Risk Management for an asset management corporation. Additionally, he led audit teams across diverse industries, including private firms, investment companies, manufacturing, oil and gas, IT, media, public relations, and banking institutions.

As a certified facilitator and researcher, he has contributed to training programs on basic accounting, financial statement analysis, financial management, and cost & management accounting for leading financial training institutions in Nigeria. His leadership was also pivotal in the financial and regulatory reporting team of an insurance company, which became the third in Nigeria to publish a 2012 IFRS-compliant financial statement.

Beyond his professional achievements, he is a compassionate humanitarian who has supported underprivileged students by financing their education and mentoring them in their career pursuits.
